Why We Created This

The Daily Empowerment Journal was created by best friends Nicole and Anya, two women who have personally experienced the power of journaling during periods of growth, uncertainty, and change.

Nicole has long used guided journaling as a tool for self-awareness and emotional grounding.

Anya studied the psychological benefits of journaling while completing her master’s thesis at Columbia University, focusing on mental health outcomes.

Together, we combined lived experience and research to create a journal that is supportive, structured, and genuinely effective.
